FamilySide offers partners top-notch educational services.

The FamilySide Training Center focuses on providing high quality training to our partners. Each employee is a link in a chain. If one link is not well trained, then the other links suffer. To keep the chain strong, we provide a wide range of interactive business-to-business and consumer selling programs. Our training programs include the Excellence program, a preneed Library, and FamilySide Academies.

Excellence program
Excellence is the premier preneed training aid designed to help a firm build a new system or enhance an existing program. Firms are provided with a multi-media training course, sales presentation, management reporting system, and personal onsite training.

One key component of the Excellence program that sets it apart from other programs offered is recruiting.

Preneed Library
The preneed Library provides firms with training kits that are designed to enhance skills of those already involved in funeral or preneed sales or to help someone acquire the necessary skills to be successful.

Topics covered in the preneed Library range from funeral service history, cremation, and insurance to lead generation, handling customer concerns, and goal setting. FamilySide also offers seminar marketing kits.

FamilySide Sales Academies
FamilySide Sales Academies are designed to provide training to agents and counsellors, similar to the curriculum of a university. The Academy programs enhance the understanding of our industry as well as help build the skills necessary to be successful.

FamilySide is proud to be the annual sponsor of the Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC) FASTRAC Programs. The CPC is specifically for individuals involved in preneed sales. The certification is designed to promote the integrity and professionalism of those who are eligible to sell or assist in the sale of preneed goods and services under applicable provincial laws, whether they are funeral directors or counsellors.

Consumer satisfaction and protection are the central reasons for establishing a certification program in any field. CPC certification elevates the profession of preplanning consultants and enhances promotion of your consultant services to the public.
